These terms and conditions govern the provision of driving tuition services by Stoke Driver Academy (operated by Malik Sediqi). By booking a lesson or course, you agree to these terms.
All prices are as published on our website at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. The DVSA practical test fee (currently £62) is not included in any lesson or course price and must be booked and paid separately via the official DVSA website.
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a standard lesson without charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you have an exceptional circumstance, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Before any intensive package dates are confirmed, a 2-hour assessment lesson must be completed. This ensures you have selected the correct number of hours for your ability level. Your package will be adjusted accordingly if needed.
Intensive courses cannot be scheduled until you have passed your DVSA Theory Test. Proof of a valid theory test pass may be requested before dates are confirmed.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your intensive block. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before the course start date.
Cancellations or changes to an intensive block must be made at least 14 days before the course start date. Cancellations inside this window will result in forfeiture of the affected training hours.
This policy exists because intensive blocks require reserving multiple consecutive days in our diary, preventing other students from booking those slots.
Use of our tuition vehicle for the DVSA practical driving test is available at a flat rate of £120, which includes a 1-hour warm-up session, vehicle insurance during the exam, and transport home afterwards.
Use of the vehicle for the practical test is subject to the instructor's professional judgement that you have reached a safe and test-ready standard. We reserve the right to withdraw the vehicle if your driving presents a risk to yourself, the examiner, or other road users.
Lessons begin at the agreed pickup time. If you are not ready at the pickup point within 10 minutes of the scheduled start, the lesson may be forfeited and charged in full.
We reserve the right to terminate a lesson immediately and without refund if a student behaves in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner. Road safety is our absolute priority at all times.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to drive and that you hold a valid provisional driving licence before your first lesson. We accept no liability for failure to disclose a medical condition that affects your ability to drive safely.
Our vehicle is fully insured for learner driver tuition. In the event of an accident caused by instructor error, our insurance policy applies. Stoke Driver Academy accepts no liability for personal injury or property damage arising from the student's own actions during a lesson.
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
